Meet
Our Coaches
Our coaches share
a unique combination of current or past competition in the sports they
coach, passion for working with athletes, and a desire to be the best
in their field.
Coaches are required to keep certifications current and
to be actively studying a topic related to their field. Unlike our competitors,
who may coach upwards of 60 athletes at a time, we commit to coaching
less than 30. The low ratio allows JDS Sportcoaching, LLC to fulfill on the company's foundational commitment to offer athletes an unparalleled
level of customized service.

Scott has spent the nearly all of his life involved in some sort of athletics, some at a high level and some just for the enjoyment and experience. This wide range of athletic experiences has taught him that you don’t have to be "the best of the best" to benefit from top notch personalized coaching and conditioning programs like he has designed for national and world-class athletes. He's found that total beginners and recreational athletes almost always reap greater rewards from the experience of personal coach and trainer.
Scott notes, "The level of improvement can be very dramatic and not just in sport performance. Having a personal coach can open unlimited possibilities for personal fulfillment...even a beginning athlete with zero experience in their targeted sport or any other person that has aspirations of athletic excellence can be coached to fulfill on their personal performance objectives."
Scott's training philosophy is to relate to athletes as individuals. "I believe to get the best from anyone it is paramount to challenge and motivate by focusing on the personal achievement of both short term goals and long term objectives so that the athlete realizes their full potential without becoming bored or burned out."
"As a coach it is my job to identify your unique capabilities as an individual and maximize them to the fullest while educating you, the athlete, on the how and why of your program. I stress the importance of understanding that any sport training is part science and part art. Although we all have similar responses to training, it is the differences that make us unique individuals.Your maximum performance potential can be achieved through the process of consistent, focused conditioning and skill development that is appropriate for your level of experience." |
