Fruita Fall Mountain Bike Camp
September 12-14th in Fruita, Colorado

Generate your next level for the fall mountain biking season! Join JDS Sportcoaching, LLC for a two-session mountain biking immersion camp in Fruita, Colorado.

Have a great time learning new skills that you can use right away to generate your next level on your mountain bike.

Camp Features

  • Individualized instruction and coaching during every session and throughout each ride.
  • Transportation to all ride locations in and around Fruita included.

For the recreational to beginner cross-country racer looking to build their skills and confidence for trail riding.

Session includes an introductory dinner Friday night, three skills sessions and two trail rides.

Skills you will learn include:

  • Balance and breaking
  • Loading and unloading
  • Manuals and wheelies
  • Cornering and choosing lines
  • Riding switchbacks and small obstacles
  • Efficient climbing and descending

Registration Fee: $345.00

Prerequisites

The JDS Sportcoaching Fall Fruita Mountain Bike Camp is for the recreational mountain bike rider with off-road experience, as well as mountain bike racers of all levels - beginner to expert. The camp is designed to help mountain bike enthusiasts take their riding abilities to the next level through the mastery of on-bike skills required for riding all kinds of terrain, experiential confidence building, and reinforcement of foundational knowledge of the sport.

During the two-session training and skills camp, participants will split into small groups organized by physical and technical ability. Each group will work with their own coach.

Physical Prerequisites

  • Ability to ride without stopping for 2 hours without serious fatigue
  • Ability to ride an extended hill climb of 45 minutes without stopping or serious fatigue

Skill/Technical Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with riding a variety of off-road trail terrain
  • Basic proficiency with shifting and braking
  • Willingness to learn new skills and improve your riding abilities

Come well rested and ready for some serious riding and fun.

Excluded from Registration Fee

Your camp registration fee DOES NOT include the following :

Transportation (for you and your bike) to and from Fruita, Colorado.

On-site Lactate Testing

Train at your greatest efficiency; on-site lactate tests may be pre-scheduled on Day One for an additional fee of $110.

Accommodations

Meals and Snacks

Personal Essentials and Equipment, including, but not limited to:

  • protective gear (helmet, eye protection and gloves required)
  • additional (or preferred) on-bike fuel
  • additional water and water bottles
  • spare tubes and other parts
  • health insurance card
  • identification card
